Sandy Hays Mies - President
Sandra Hays Mies has over 27 years of experience in fundraising, public relations, event execution and not for profit management. Prior to launching Limelight WNY in September of 2008, she was the President of the Lower Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce. She also served as Executive Director of the Pine Avenue Business Association, Inc. Her previous employers were Artpark and Eric Mower and Associates. Sandy has been very involved in the Niagara Region community for many years and has held volunteer leadership positions on various boards including the Niagara Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Council, the Niagara County Community College Board of Associates, the Lewiston Jazz Festival and Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and Health Center Board of Trustees.
In addition to the clients listed on this site, she has also performed work for the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corporation, Brydan Inc. and The Clarence Chamber of Commerce.

Hannah Elizabeth Hays - Client Services Coordinator
Hannah Hays is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing. She has been employed by Limelight WNY since September of 2009.
Hannah supports all aspects of the business including event execution, sponsorship fulfillment, website content editing and interfaces regularly with our clients and strategic partners. She is a tremendous asset to Limelight WNY.

What We Do
Limelight WNY is an integrated event management, marketing and public relations firm. We provide a full range of services for large scale events including the development of sponsorship packages, event logistics, VIP/sponsor receptions, media and public relations plans, social media campaigns, web advertising, press releases, graphic design and printing of collateral materials, budgeting, volunteer development and recruitment and entertainment for themed events.
We have developed collaborative and strategic partnerships with Trellis Marketing, Luminus Media and MMB Arts Photography. We create events that are creatively executed to perfection, well received by attendees and financially successful.
In addition to managing events, Sandra Hays Mies of Limelight WNY is also the Collateral Sales Representative for the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corporation and Destination Travel Network selling both print and digital advertising.

Held annually during the month of August in Lewiston, New York, the Lewiston Jazz Festival is a premiere music event that attracts tens of thousands from across the United States and Canada over a two day period. In addition to hosting world class musicians, the festival offers a Jaguar Classic Car Show and a Jewelry Show featuring WNY’s foremost vendors. Area chefs come out of their restaurants and onto Center Street where everything from black fettuccini, sushi, polenta, crepes and Italian rice balls are available for purchase. Wineries and outdoor bars are also featured throughout this free festival.
2012 marks the 11th anniversary of the Lewiston Jazz Festival that has been managed since its inception by Sandra Hays Mies and Limelight WNY. The event is governed by the Board of Directors of the Lewiston Jazz Festival Inc.
